High profile speakers to address the IDF Summit 2021 on industry and public sector response to climate change

The Insurance Development Forum (IDF), a public-private partnership led by the insurance industry and supported by international organisations, announces today the inaugural IDF Summit 2021 taking place virtually on 7^th – 8^th June 2021. Under the headline “Building Resilience in a Risker world:  Actions towards a climate resilient future”, the event will feature high profile speakers and panelists from the re/insurance, development and governmental sectors sharing insights into the insurance industry and the public sector’s global response to Climate Change.

The free-to-attend IDF Summit 2021 is accessible for all professionals from the public or private, insurance and media sectors and will include keynote speakers and knowledge-sharing breakout sessions. Among the participants sharing their views and addressing key issues are:

We purposely planned our event to take place ahead of the 47^th G7 summit and COP26, so that IDF and its members and supporters from the broader insurance development community and further afield can add to the groundswell towards a global shift as we look to combat climate change.
