IDF Summit 2026: 10th-11th June, London, UK

After the IDF Summit 2026 came to a close yesterday, we would like to thank the IDF Change Agents and guests who joined us in London over the past two days to share knowledge, challenge assumptions and explore solutions to some of the world’s most pressing resilience challenges.

Together with Wednesday’s Knowledge Day, the IDF Summit 2026 was part of the Learning Week co-hosted by the The World Bank Group and Insurance Development Forum.

The focus was on knowledge sharing, implementation, innovation and impact. The convenings showcased the unique value of bringing together expertise from across the insurance, development, humanitarian and public sectors – with official representatives from developing and emerging economies.

Re/insurers, brokers, risk modellers, market developers. Development banks, development agencies, NGOs. Donor country officials, foundations, think tanks. Government officials from finance ministries, agricultural and disaster agencies, regulators. Delivering resilience needs all actors. Together, we demonstrate what is possible when dialogue and partnership are placed at the centre of resilience-building efforts.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their expertise, experience and commitment to building a more resilient future.

This week’s conversations may be ending, but the work continues.
