From scaling financial protection for climate-vulnerable economies to advancing innovative risk financing instruments, the Spring Meetings underscored the growing urgency of building resilience in an increasingly uncertain world.

Across bilateral meetings, roundtables and closed-door sessions, a clear focus emerged: strengthening public-private collaboration, closing protection gaps, and embedding insurance into the financial system as a tool for resilience are essential to ensuring that emerging markets and developing economies are better equipped to respond to climate shocks and natural disasters.

Through its engagement, the Insurance Development Forum continues to champion practical, scalable insurance solutions that support sustainable development and long-term resilience.
