Mamiko Yokoi-Arai is Principal Administrator of the Directorate of Financial and Enterprise Affairs and heads the insurance work at the OECD. She is responsible for the coordination and organisation of the OECD’s Insurance and Private Pensions Committee which provides policy guidance on insurance and private pensions systems. She previously worked at the Bank of Japan, and the Financial Services Agency of Japan (FSA), and was Reader in International Finance Law at Queen Mary, University of London for several years, and has many publications on banking, competition and trade issues.
